What you enter
Travelitz holds your itineraries: the trips you create, and the plans on them — flights and their segments, hotels, car rentals, trains, ferries, cruises, restaurants, shows, tours, meetings, parking, directions and notes. For each one, the times and time zones you set, the places, confirmation numbers, costs, travellers and anything you write in the notes. That is the product, and it is yours.
Emails you forward us
If you use Travelitz Pro and forward a booking confirmation to our import address, we store that email — subject, body and HTML — alongside what we read out of it. We keep the message whether or not we understood it, so a booking you sent is never lost to a parser that had not met that airline’s template yet. You can see every one under Settings → Import, and deleting your workspace deletes them.
What we never collect
We do not track where you are. Travelitz has no location permission, no background tracking, no “nearby” features and no advertising identifiers. It knows the places on your itinerary because you typed them, or because they were in an email you chose to send us. Nothing else.
Emails we send
Alerts go to your account address or the notification address you set: a trip starting tomorrow, a plan in 24 hours, a plan in 3 hours, a short “today” list, and the messages about sharing. Every send is keyed by (you, kind, plan, moment) so the same alert cannot go twice. Sign-in codes and plan receipts go to your account email. Turn any of them off under Settings → Notifications.
Sharing
When you invite somebody to a trip, they see that trip and its plans — and nothing else about your account. When you publish a read-only link, anyone who has the address can read that one itinerary; switch it off or replace the link at any time from Manage Sharing. The subscribable calendar address works the same way: whoever holds it can read your upcoming plans, so treat it like a password.
Retention
Trips, plans, forwarded emails, sharing and settings: kept while your workspace exists, and deleted with it. Account, plan and invoice records: kept while your account exists, and invoices for as long as Indian tax law requires after that.
Why we hold it
To show your itinerary, send the alerts you asked for, share a trip when you tell us to, invoice you, answer support, and keep the service secure. Never for advertising, never sold, never shared with anyone who does not need it to do one of those jobs.
Who else sees it
Razorpay (plan payments), the database and web hosting providers for the data above, and the email provider for alerts, sign-in codes and receipts. Your itinerary is never sent to an airline, a hotel or anyone else.
Your rights
See, correct, download or delete your data any time: every trip exports as a calendar file and prints as a one-page itinerary, and you can write to travelitz@grandfieldmedia.com. Deleting your account removes your workspace and everything in it.
